OBF Live is an app for live streaming to several platforms at once (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and any RTMP/SRT server). This page explains what data the app uses and how.
On launch, the app reads a configuration file from https://obflive.com (ad settings, announcements, minimum version, live server URLs). This request sends no personal data. Like any website, our server sees the IP address during the request, but we do not store it in our database.
If you agree, the app sends anonymous statistics after each live: duration, platforms used, number of disconnections, resolution, device tier and app version. They contain no name, email, device identifier, stream key or video. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and cookies to show relevant ads, under Google's policies. Where the law requires it (such as in the European Union), the app asks for your consent with Google's UMP tool. Ads never appear in the video you broadcast. Purchases go through Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment; we never see your card details. The app verifies the purchase on your device through Google Play.
Camera, microphone, screen capture, notifications, Do Not Disturb and the floating bubble are used only for live features, on your device.
OBF Live is not intended for children under 13.
